It is amazing to see what you can accomplish when you have shared values and work together to accomplish common goals.  Here are just a few of our accomplishments:

2023 – 24 Academic Year

  • Spring 2024 Panhellenic Council GPA 3.369.  All Women’s GPA 3.301
  • Fall 2023 Panhellenic Council GPA 3.474.  All Women’s GPA 3.295
  • Held Delegate Orientation, Presidents Brunch, New Member Brunch (fall and spring) and monthly Council meetings
  • 71 students joined in the fall, 435 joined in the spring
  • 359 students joined through spring NPC Formal Sorority Recruitment
    • 78% of all participants signed a Membership Recruitment Acceptance Agreement
    • 92% of participants matched to their first choice
  • Launched our @rutgerspanhellenic TikTok account
  • Continued to support our Coalition for Women of Color
  • Council President attended the Northeast Greek Leadership Association (NGLA) Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA
  • Winner of two Impact Awards from NGLA for Multicultural Initiatives & Programs and Public Relations
  • Sponsored a team for New Student Move In, Fall & Spring Academic Study Session and donated over $850 to chapter philanthropy events
  • Donated $4000 to Rutgers University Dance Marathon to support the Embrace Kids Foundation and $1500 as a Service Week co-sponsor

2022-23 Academic Year

  • Fall 2022 Panhellenic Council GPA 3.403.  All Women’s GPA 3.240
  • Held Delegate Orientation, Presidents Brunch, Senior Brunch and monthly Council meetings
  • 72 students joined our non-NPC sorority community
  • 262 students joined through spring in-person NPC Formal Sorority Recruitment
    • 73% of all participants signed a Membership Recruitment Acceptance Agreement
    • 80% of participants matched to their first choice
  • Continued to promote the Coalition for Women of Color
  • Student delegation attended the Northeast Greek Leadership Association’s Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA and 2 student leaders presented two workshops
  • Received Innovation Awards from National Panhellenic Conference in areas of Leadership, Marketing, Programming and Recruitment
  • Appointed Samantha Mass (Alpha Gamma Delta) as our Representative to Rutgers University Student Assembly (RUSA)
  • Sponsored fall and spring Yoga/Zumba Nights, Fall Academic Study Session,
  • Donated $2000 to Rutgers University Dance Marathon to support the Embrace Kids Foundation; donations also made to World Central Kitchen and National Eating Disorders Awarness

Spring 2022

  • Held Delegate Orientation, Presidents Brunch and monthly Council meetings
  • Sought input from Rutgers’ Violence Prevention & Victim Assistance (VPVA) to revise our Statement Against Sexual Assault
  • 45 students joined our non-NPC sorority community
  • 301 students joined through fully virtual NPC Formal Sorority Recruitment
    • 72 new members joined through Continuous Open Bidding
    • 78% of participants signed a Membership Recruitment Acceptance Agreement
    • 97% of participants matched to their first choice
  • Provided monthly training programs and an assessment tool for chapter Diversity/Equity/Inclusion Officers.  Many thanks to Vanessa Alzate of Anchored Training for sharing her expertise.
  • Continued to promote the Coalition for Women of Color
  • Revised Council Bylaws
  • 50 chapter officers virtually attended the Northeast Greek Leadership Association’s Annual Meeting and 3 student leaders served as workshop presenters
  • Honored graduating senior members at Senior Brunch; including remarks from the President of the Central New Jersey Alumnae Panhellenic and last year’s Panhellenic Council President
  • Appointed Julia Hernandez (Alpha Gamma Delta) as our Representative to Rutgers University Student Assembly (RUSA)
  • Philanthropic Support included:
    • $2000 to Rutgers University Dance Marathon to support the Embrace Kids Foundation
    • $420 to The Circle of Sisterhood, removing educational barriers for girls and women facing poverty and oppression
    • $400 to Care, Inc. for relief efforts in Ukraine
    • Created 500 Utensil Bundles for Elijah’s Promise in New Brunswick
    • Participated in Rutgers Day
