Recruitment

Dear Future Panhellenic Women,
I am so excited to welcome you to Rutgers University! Wow…. To be in your shoes right now as a potential new member, I would give anything to experience the recruitment journey and all the amazing opportunities and memories again. Whether you are a first-year student, a transfer, or an upperclassman here at Rutgers, Rutgers Panhellenic has no starting requirement- we are here to welcome you whenever you are ready! This community is devoted to ensuring all members feel comfortable, supported, and confident. We, as a Council, aim for our members to flourish socially, academically, and professionally as college students and further provide you with opportunities for growth!
The Panhellenic Council is a community of 10 organizations with over 1,000 members from all different backgrounds, experiences, and cultures. We dedicate ourselves to upholding the 4 pillars of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Friendship for Life in all of our endeavors. By embracing these values, we strive to better ourselves and empower our community to effect positive change. Regardless of affiliation, we all always aim to express and reflect that “panhel love”!
At Rutgers University, the Panhellenic community provides opportunities for all students. From wherever you are starting, I know taking that leap and trying something new can be incredibly uncomfortable and nerve-wracking. I can tell you I felt the exact same way starting this journey as just a freshman. However, I cannot imagine my life without this incredible council. I have met some of the most empowering, smart, and kind individuals who make me strive to be a better person, student, and leader. I encourage each and every one of you to join our wonderful Panhellenic community. We, as a council, believe in you; I believe in you!
Embrace what makes you unique, even if it makes others uncomfortable. I didn’t have to become perfect because I’ve learned throughout my journey that perfection is the enemy of greatness.” – Janelle Monae
Sincerely,
Ava Andrew
