Rohini Malagi (she/her/hers), Director

I’m a member of Phi Mu and a Junior majoring in Political Science with minors in History and German. I first learned about the CWC during recruitment.  Knowing our Panhellenic community values and cherishes diversity gave me the boost of confidence I needed to go through the process. I am forever grateful to the CWC for this and am committed to ensuring the continued amplification of the CWC’s mission and values. This organization means so much to me as it provides a meaningful space to celebrate women of color and support all. The unique backgrounds, experiences, and identities of the women in Panhellenic make our community rich and reflective of true sisterhood. To women of color and anyone who is unsure of going through recruitment, I want you to know that Panhel is a home for everyone and we welcome you with open arms.

 VP of Administration

Amanda Lim (she/her/hers)

Hi! I’m a part of Alpha Chi Omega and a rising senior majoring in Cognitive Science and Computer Science. I joined the CWC because I believe that empowering, supporting, and celebrating women of color and their voices is vital for the Panhel, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve on the board for a second time! I am so happy to be surrounded by strong women of diverse backgrounds and identities, and I can’t wait to bring us even closer together as a community through this. My advice for women of color who are in the recruitment process is to ask meaningful questions and embrace exactly who you are. Being unapologetically yourself while learning more about each chapter’s qualities will help you pave the way to where you can certainly stay true to who you are!

Director of Programming

Tori Kuo (she/her/hers)

I’m a member of Phi Sigma Sigma and a Senior with a major in Biology and minor in Nutrition. Becoming a part of CWC was important to me because of the community it brings together. This is my second year being a part of the CWC and I could not be more thankful to know not only these girls but all other Greek life girls I have met. Knowing about the CWC during rush was one of the key reasons I felt at ease during the process, and I cannot wait to provide that to other girls and bring our community closer together. My advice to the PNM’s is to stay true to yourself and have fun during the process!

I am a member of Phi Mu and a Junior double majoring in Political Science and Criminal Justice. This is my first year being involved with the Coalition of Women of Color, and I am so excited to be part of a group dedicated to making Greek life more inclusive and welcoming for all. I joined the CWC because I wanted to help create a space where women of color feel seen, supported, and celebrated. I am so grateful for the diverse backgrounds and experiences of the women in this community. We uplift each other and serve as a voice for others navigating Panhellenic life. My advice to PNMs is to be yourself and stay open minded!

Hi! I’m a member of Phi Mu and a Junior majoring in Biology with a minor in Business Administration. Having the opportunity to be involved with the CWC is such a honor. Being surrounded by inspiring, supportive, and encouraging women is such a gift, and I’m so excited to be part of this space where we can lift each other up and celebrate one another.  My advice to PNMs is to be yourself and don’t overthink it! This is your own special journey, and along the way, you will find your people who make you feel at home.

Hi! I’m a member of Alpha Gamma Delta and a Junior double majoring in Criminal Justice and Information Technology & Informatics, with a minor in Critical Intelligence and a concentration in Cybersecurity. I transferred to Rutgers last year from The College of New Jersey, so this is my first year being involved in CWC and I couldn’t be more excited! Finding this community as a transfer student made me feel grounded and empowered in a new environment. Being surrounded by strong, thoughtful women who care deeply about creating inclusive spaces has been one of the most rewarding parts of my Panhellenic experience. I joined the CWC because I want to help other women of color feel just as welcomed and valued. If you’re going through recruitment, my advice is simple: trust your gut and don’t feel like you need to change who you are. The right chapter will celebrate you as you are.

Director of Community Outreach

Yashvi Desai (she/her/hers)

Hi! I’m a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and a Sophomore majoring in Finance. This is my first year being involved with CWC, and I’m so excited to be part of a group that brings together such a strong and supportive community of women. Even before I joined, I could see how meaningful CWC was in helping women of color feel accepted and seen. Now, I can’t wait to help provide that same sense of comfort and connection to others. My advice to all PNMs is to stay open-minded, trust yourself, and enjoy every part of the experience, you’re about to meet some amazing people who will see you for who you truly are!

Hi! I’m a member of Phi Sigma Rho and a Sophomore majoring in Chemical Engineering. I am so excited to be a part of CWC for the first time and to connect more deeply with an incredible community of women while empowering women of color. Knowing that resources such as CWC were available brought me great comfort during the rush process by reassuring me that I’d always have a place to turn to. I would love to extend that sense of security and experience to future PNMs. My advice to all women of color who are considering the rush process is to project confidence and trust your instinct; the rest will fall into place. The people who are meant to be in your life will be attracted to your positive energy.
