Hi! I’m a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and a junior majoring in Finance. This is my second year being involved with CWC, and I’m so excited to continue to be part of a group that brings together such a strong and supportive community of women. The CWC has been so meaningful in helping women of color feel accepted and seen. I can’t wait to continue to help provide that same sense of comfort and connection to more girls. My advice to all PNMs is to stay open-minded, trust yourself, and enjoy every part of the experience. You’re about to meet some amazing people who will see you for who you truly are!

Hi! I’m a member of Alpha Chi Omega and a junior majoring in Genetics with a Music minor. This is my second year being involved with CWC, and I’m so excited to continue being part of a group that emphasizes being proud of who you are and being the best support system. After having been in the CWC since last year, I can see how important our mission is to all girls in helping them feel a sense of belonging in the Panhellenic community! For those who are PNMs, my advice to you (as cheesy as it sounds) is truly to be authentically yourself and also to keep an open mind! You are going to meet so many incredible new people throughout this process who will love you for just who you are, so make sure you enjoy your time throughout the entire process!

Hi! I’m a member of Phi Mu and a sophomore majoring in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Psychology. I’m so excited to be part of the CWC this year and contribute to such a meaningful part of Panhellenic! This is my first year involved, and I joined because of the empowerment and support it provides to women of color. I couldn’t be happier or more proud to be surrounded by such incredible women with diverse identities and backgrounds. To any PNMs who may be feeling nervous about recruitment, just be yourself. The right people and the right chapter will appreciate you for who you are!

Hi! I’m a junior majoring in Cell Biology & Neuroscience and I’m a member of Alpha Omega Epsilon. This is my first year with the CWC, and from the moment I first learned about it to now, it has made me feel so empowered and seen by such an incredible community of women. The CWC has such a beautiful mission, and I’m so excited to now be part of that by helping women of color feel confident and supported as they find their place within Panhel. My advice to PNMs is to keep stepping out of your comfort zone and always be your most authentic self. There is such an amazing community here waiting to welcome you!

Hi! I’m a member of Alpha Gamma Delta and I’m a sophomore majoring in Political Science. I wanted to join the CWC because of how much community means to them, and I’m so excited to be apart of something that leaves an impact campus-wide. When I rushed, it meant a lot to see women of color highlighted through this organization, and it made me feel so represented and welcome to something that was a new experience to me. My advice to PNMs is to keep an open mind, and remember that everything happens for a reason, and be excited! You’ll meet so many incredible people along the way!

Hi! I’m a sophomore in Phi Sigma Sigma majoring in Math and Economics. This is my first year being part of CWC, and I’m really excited to get involved with such an uplifting community. What stood out to me about CWC is how it creates a space where women of color can feel welcomed, valued, and connected. I’m grateful for the chance to contribute to that environment and help others feel supported the same way. My advice to PNMs is to be yourself, keep an open heart, and let the process happen naturally. The right people will appreciate you for exactly who you are.

Hi! My name is Emma Bucalo, and I’m a rising sophomore on the Pre-PA track and a member of Alpha Gamma Delta. I’m so excited to be involved with the CWC because I want women from all different backgrounds to feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to join Greek life. One of the things I love most about the Panhellenic community at Rutgers University is the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and build genuine connections. I hope to help create an environment where every PNM feels comfortable being themselves and confident — especially throughout the recruitment process!
