Registration & Participation

Regardless of the type of sorority a student wants to join, ALL interested students MUST register for recruitment in order to participate in the  process.  Students must also meet the Academic Eligibility criteria outlined by OFSA in order to participate.

Both sororities will hold Meet the Sisters Events and Info Sessions which allow interested students to ask questions, learn about financial obligations, time commitments, and membership requirements.

Check their social media for exact times, dates and locations.

There is no registration deadline.  Students must be registered (use the link above) before being asked to join.

Events begin Tuesday, January 21st

 

Formal Recruitment (NPC sororities only)

Students must REGISTER HERE FOR RECRUITMENT AND have ACADEMIC ELIGILBITY VERIFIED

You must register AND have your academic eligibility verified in order to participate.

This mutual-selection format is an opportunity for students to meet sorority members from each NPC sorority, ask questions, learn about financial obligations, time commitments, and membership requirements. Participation in Formal Recruitment is limited to the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) member organizations of our Council.

2025 Formal Recruitment Dates

Recruitment Orientation (virtually) – Monday, January 20 and Tuesday, January 21.  Students will be able to select the date and time they’d like to attend when they complete their registration.  Sessions are held at 8pm and 9:30pm on both days.  Students must only attend one of these sessions.

Recruitment Counselor (Pi Chi) Group Meeting – Friday, January 24th 9pm CASC MPR – Your Pi Chis are your guides during recruitment and they are looking forward to meeting you.  Attend to get your questions asked, review your schedule and meet the other members of your Pi Chi Group.

Saturday, January 25th & Sunday, January 26th 9am – 6pm.  Open House Round (virtual) – Students will participate in this round virtually, visiting all 8 member organizations for 30 min each with their Recruitment Group.  Students should make plans to be free for both days from 10am – 6pm to allow for maximum flexibility in being scheduled. Students must attend all 8 Open House Zoom events to participate in recruitment.

Recruitment Counselor (Pi Chi Group Meeting – Monday, January 27th 8:30pm CASC MPR and Thursday, January 30th 9:30pm LSC MPR 

Friday, January 31st, Saturday, February 1st Philanthropy Round – Students may attend a maximum of 5 parties during this in-person round.  Students should be available Friday from 5pm – 11pm, and Saturday 9am – 11pm to allow for maximum flexibility in being scheduled to the parties they’ve been invited to attend.

Sunday, February 2nd  Preference Round  – Students may attend a maximum of 2 hour-long parties during this final in-person round.  Students should be available from 9am – 7pm to allow for maximum flexibility in attending parties they’ve been invited to attend.  After attending all of their Preference parties, students will have the opportunity to indicate which organization(s) they’d like to join by completing the MRABA (Membership Recruitment Acceptance Binding Agreement).  Participants should review the terms of this Agreement several times before they complete the MRABA so they understand the binding nature of this agreement.

Monday,  February 3rd Bid Distribution – Students who are invited to join an organization will participate in an in person Bid Distribution and Bid Day activities with their chapter.  8pm – 10:30pm

Financial Transparency Information about our organizations is posted on each chapter’s page site year-round.  Be sure to review that important information with your parents/family so that you can ensure you can meet a sorority’s financial obligations (dues, fees, housing requirements, etc.) should you join.
